Meet the Siddha Healings Team
Monica Roman
Founder & Holistic Therapist
Meet Monica, a seasoned Holistic Therapist with over fifteen years of experience in both holistic and traditional therapy. She holds a degree in Kinesiology and Elementary Education from the University of Utah and has delved into the realm of holistic medicine and therapy practices.
With four incredible children - two daughters and two sons - Monica's journey as an educator has been diverse. From teaching kindergarten for a decade to being a University Professor for twelve years and guiding high school students at a treatment center for teenage girls, she has left an indelible mark on young minds. Not to mention her 23 years of teaching group fitness, which is a testament to her commitment to promoting overall well-being.
Monica's therapy philosophy is both profound and playful. She challenges the idea that emotions are superpowers, advocating for vulnerability as a pathway to authentic connections with others and nature. Her belief in the power of facing stored emotions head-on is the driving force behind her healing approach - healing ourselves first is the key to unlocking true transformation.
In the picturesque landscapes of Mindo, Ecuador, Monica founded Siddha Healings - a sanctuary of wellness and personal growth.
Monica's vision for Siddha Healings stems from her understanding that humans require an environment deeply connected to nature to experience genuine healing and self-discovery. Nestled in the serene Andes Mountains, this healing space provides the perfect setting for individuals to reconnect with their bodies and intuition, fostering a life enriched with abundance, connection, and clarity.
Monica teaches all the core modules in the training program. She also teaches all the fitness classes when students are not available to teach.
